The halfway point in the 2018 calendar of fixtures at Chester Racecourse has now been reached and only six opportunities remain to enjoy raceday hospitality this season.
Raceday dining offers racegoers an exclusive raceday experience, inviting diners to experience top--quality service in one of Chester’s award-winning restaurants or private dining facilities.
Named after the year racing first began in Chester, 1539 Restaurant & Bar offers panoramic views of the finishing post and final furlong, whilst serving delicious food in plush surroundings. The restaurant is fully booked for the Stella Artois Midsummer meeting this weekend (Saturday 28 July) and the MBNA Family Funday (Sunday 5 August) and availability is strictly limited for the remaining fixtures in September. The White Horse gastro pub provides a more relaxed raceday dining experience, serving home-cooked pub classics alongside some inspired summer dishes, brimming with colour and flavour. Open all year round, the pub shines on racedays, with views of the pre-parade ring and saddling boxes, The White Horse is at the centre of the action in the Paddock. Guests are invited to book inside the pub and enjoy a three-course meal or to reserve a table in the garden and make the most of the outdoor BBQ and private bar. Raceday dining in The White Horse is available from just £50+VAT*.
Located in a marquee structure inside the Festival Village, adjacent to the Chalets, The Final Furlong is a short stroll for the running rails and the final seconds of the race. Serving a luxurious two-course carvery lunch, the restaurant offers all-inclusive drinks for the day. The electric atmosphere in the restaurant is contagious and creates an unforgettable racing experience. Raceday dining in The Final Furlong is available from just £185+VAT*.
Ideal for smaller parties, The Turf restaurant is situated in the County Stand. Serving a three-course lunch, and traditional cream tea, the bright and comfortable restaurant is adorned with racing history on the walls. After dining guests are invited to come as go as they please as they make their way to the County stands to watch the racing. Raceday dining in The Turf is available from just £135+VAT*.
Exclusively for the MBNA Family Funday on Sunday 5 August, Chester Racecourse have announced a new hospitality offering, ideal for families planning to spend a day at the Races. Located in the Paddock Rooms, overlooking the Pre-Parade ring, the package includes a two-course BBQ lunch and private bar facilities, all for just £99+VAT per person*.
