So dust off your lederhosen and prost to good times at our Oktoberfest Season Finale on Saturday 20th September. We’re talking thrilling racing, tasty Bavarian bites, Oompah Bands, a Dachshund Derby and plenty of traditional games – all in one stein-tastic day!

Bavarian Fun

The Pavilion Lawn will be taken over by our very own Oktoberfest extravaganza – basically a playground for adults! We’ll have live music from Oompah Bands, Sausage Throwing, Stein Holding Competitions and guaranteed good times.

Dachshund Derby

Who will be top dog?

The paws-itively thrilling Dachshund Derby will be taking place at our Oktoberfest Season Finale. Dachshunds from near and far will gather to race for glory, with a chance of being crowned the fastest sausage.

Themed Food

Tuck into some delicious Oktoberfest themed food and drink! If you feel your tummy rumbling, treat yourself to a juicy bratwurst and then finish it off with a refreshing Bavarian beer. Prost!

Where Will The Oktoberfest Activities Take Place?

Ready for some Bavarian fun this raceday? Join us for Oktoberfest festivities on the Pavilion Lawn!

It’s open to everyone with a hospitality package or general admission ticket—just a quick note, it’s not accessible with a Roodee ticket.

Can Children Attend?

You bet they can and even better – children aged 17 and under go FREE! For general admission areas, no ticket is required but for hospitality areas, a pre-booked child ticket is needed. To do this, simply email hospitality@chester-races.com.

*Please note – children are not allowed in The Garden or Winning Post Enclosures – this is where the grown ups let their hair down!
