Final preparations are underway for glamour, style and high stakes at the Powells Jewellery Ladies Day on Saturday 30 August at Chester Racecourse.

For the second year running, the event is sponsored by Chester-based Powells Jewellery, a family business spanning over three generations and specialists in vintage and contemporary fine jewellery.

Powells Jewellery Ladies Day will see racegoers compete for the coveted title of ‘Best Dressed’, with the chance of winning prizes that include an18ct White Gold Emerald and Diamond Necklet courtesy of Powells Jewellery.

After racing, the racecourse will transform into an all-singing, all dancing spectacle as world-renowned band Björn Again take to the stage to play ABBA’s greatest hits.

Performing some of the iconic group’s classic hits, including Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and Waterloo, Björn Again have played in more than 75 countries around the world, with Powells Jewellery Ladies Day being their first visit to the world-famous racecourse.

As part of Powells Jewellery’ collaboration with Chester Racecourse, the brand has hand-picked a Ladies Day collection, which can be found online or in store on Eastgate Row in the heart of Chester.
