And when you’re first to see the horses gallop out of Castle Bend and head for the home straight, we won’t tell anyone how good you’ve got it. So, saddle up, come as you are and get ready for a relaxed race day.

Our Roodee tickets start at just £10.00, meaning you can save the rest of your money for tasty food, delicious drinks and hopefully a winning bet or two! Giddy up, round up all your friends and family and bring them along for a laid-back experience at the races.

No Dress Code

This is the only area on our racecourse that hasn’t got a dress code so wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Whether that’s a comfy sweatshirt or a fancy dress – it’s completely up to you! We do have some rules though so please make sure you check out our ‘Dress Code’ section below.

Family-Friendly

This is a perfect place for a family day out. No dress code. Bring your own picnic. Play ball games. And for Roman Day and Family Fun Day, the Roodee is taken over by fun fairs, inflatable play zones, music workshops, VIP guests and more. Plus, all activities are free for the little ones!

Dress Code

The Roodee is more of a relaxed environment, but don’t let that stop you from donning your best outfit for a grand day out at the races. Dress it up or dress it down – it’s up to you.

All that we ask is that you don’t wear offensive clothing or offensive fancy dress as these are not allowed. On the rare occasion, you might need to bring your wellies and brollies – but not if we keep doing our rain dances!
