Travel & Parking

We’ve been here a while. With easy connections from Manchester & Liverpool and all the major motorways, it couldn’t be easier to find us.

By Car

You can find us easily by car. The racecourse is sign-posted from all major routes. The M53, M56, M6 and A483 are all in close proximity to Chester, providing excellent links from Liverpool, Manchester, North Wales and the south of England.

If you are celebrating with us, you don’t need to worry about parking. We have enough space for all of your guests completely free.

By Train

Chester Train station is a 20 minute walk to Chester Racecourse. You can wander through the historic cobble streets before parading down Watergate street towards the Racecourse to fully immerse yourself in the Chester atmosphere. If your heels are high, or your loafers rub, then we’re just a 6 minute taxi journey from the station.

By Air

If you or your party are travelling from other parts of the UK or abroad by plane, both Manchester Airport and Liverpool John Lennon Airport are conveniently located around 40 minutes away. Liverpool is ideal for domestic and European flights, while Manchester offers a wide range of international connections as well as domestic flights.

Accessibility

Your comfort and enjoyment whilst at our racecourse is of the upmost importance. We have various parking spaces available which will set your mind at ease.

We have wheelchair access across site with accessible toilets available too.

Accommodation

Once the dancing and celebrating has ended, you might not want to travel too far to get your head down.

Our onsite Holiday Inn is the perfect stay for the night before your festivities or for when your dancing feet just cant walk anymore.
