Family Fun at Full Gallop
Move aside grown ups, it’s time for the little racegoers to have some fun!
Our much-loved Family Fun Day will take place on Sunday 2nd August and as always, promises to be filled with exciting entertainment from start to finish. This raceday really has the community at its heart as we welcome local businesses to host a range of activities for the little ones including fun fairs, inflatable play zones, music workshops, craft activities and much more.
And the big news for 2026? No job is too big, no pup is too small – because Chase & Skye from PAW Patrol are on their way to Chester Races!
We’ll also be cranking up the volume with our special music acts that will be taking over the stage throughout the day.

Important Information
Car Parking
For this fixture, the car park will be open at 10:00am.
Guests will not be able to enter the Open Course until the main gates open at 12:00pm. Guests can leave the car park but won’t be able to re-enter until 12:00pm, via gates 8 or 9.
Gazebos
Guests are allowed to bring along a Gazebo to the Open Course, free of charge – gazebos must be 3×3 maximum and have a 1m gap in between each gazebo. We reserve the right to ask for gazebos to be taken down if they don’t adhere to the size listed and if there’s adverse weather conditions.

Get ready for a day packed with adventure as everyone’s favourite heroic pups arrive on Sunday 2nd August for our action-filled Family Fun Day. Straight from Adventure Bay, Chase & Skye will be making special appearances throughout the day.
Bring your little recruits along to join the Paw Patrol mission – meet Chase, the brave police pup, and Skye, the fearless flying ace. Snap a photo with the team, enjoy the excitement, and create unforgettable family memories.
Expect a day full of fun, smiles, and pup-tastic adventures – it’s going to be PAW-some from start to finish!
Dance moves at the ready, we’re bringing your little ones the ultimate mini festival. Alongside our awesome activities, we’re cranking up the volume with our special music acts that will be taking over the stage throughout the day.

We want you to feel fabulous in whatever you wear on a raceday but we do have certain dress codes for each enclosure. Lucky for you, we have a guide which tells you the yays or neighs!
You bet they can and even better – children aged 17 and under go FREE! For general admission areas, no ticket is required but for hospitality areas, a pre-booked child ticket is needed. To do this, simply email hospitality@chester-races.com.
We’re cashless (apart from the bookmakers) For all your drinks and tasty nibbles, we accept all major debit/credit cards and Apple/Android Pay. For placing bets, cash can be used with our on-course bookmakers.
