Published on 21 March 2024

Following an extensive recruitment process, The Board of Chester Race Company (CRC) is delighted to announce the forthcoming appointment of Kevin Hart as a non-executive director.

Kevin replaces Jonathan Turner, who will step down from the Chester Race Company Board at this year’s Annual General Meeting. Kevin’s responsibilities will include chairing the CRC Audit and Risk Committee, taking over from Joelle Warren, who will now chair the CRC Remuneration Committee.

Kevin has a good existing knowledge of Chester Race Company, having been a member of Musselburgh Racecourse Committee since 2021.

Following an initial induction period, Kevin will start his role on 1st April 2024.

Ian O’Doherty, Chester Race Company Chair, said:

“We are delighted to appoint Kevin to the Board of Chester Race Company. Kevin brings a wealth of experience and a passion for horseracing, and I am confident he will be a valuable addition to the Board.”

On his appointment, Kevin Hart said:
