From arrival, you should collect your badge from the hostess desk and ensure your badge is visible at all times whilst you are on course, enabling you easy access to and from the County Long Room and across the racecourse throughout the day.
County Long Room is located within the main grandstand at the racecourse. Once you arrive at the racecourse, proceed to Gate 4 and climb the steps from Watergate Square. Once at the top of the stairs, you will find The Walls Bar to your left-hand side and the County Long Room to your right. The Walls Bar is part of the facilities open to County Long Room badge holders and provides a space away from the main County Long Room from which to enjoy a beverage before you take your seats for the first race.
The County Long Room itself provides access to a well-stocked cash bar, including fast pour service, plenty of seating and access to Chester Bet facilities. You will also find access to the ‘Pie’ food concession, serving homemade butter pies. From the County Long Room, you can visit the covered seating within the grandstand and the rest of the course.
Use the underpass beneath the track to visit all the amenities in the Paddock, including the County Champagne Bar; the perfect place to celebrate a winner or two.
Purchasing a racecard is advised as it details the various food and beverage concessions available on course, the live entertainment, partner activations and any competitions on the day. In addition you will find the full run down of the day’s racing schedule and information about the runners and riders of the day.
