From arrival, you should ensure your badge is visible at all times whilst you are on course, enabling you easy access to and from the County Concourse and across the racecourse throughout the day. The County Concourse is located within the County Stand at Chester Racecourse. Once you arrive at the racecourse, proceed to Gate 3A from Watergate Square to enter. Once through security, make your way
down Paradise Row towards the track. Here you will find the Leverhulme Stand Bar to your right-hand side and the County Stand to your left.
The County Stand overlooks the final furlong of the race-track, affording excellent views of the final stages of every race and big screen at the finishing post. A County Concourse badge enables you access to the County Concourse Bar on the ground floor of the County Stand, the Paddock, accessible via the underpass beneath the track and all the accompanying facilities in the centre of the course including the County Champagne Bar.
You can access both sides of the track with a County Concourse badge. On the Paddock side, you can view the horses up close in the Parade and Pre-Parade Ring and winning connections presentations in the Winners Enclosure. The centre of the course has a variety of bars and food concessions and here you’ll also find ‘The Lawn’. This area has a variety of pop-up bars and is presided over by our resident DJ.
Purchasing a racecard is advised as it details the various food and beverage concessions available on course, the live entertainment, partner activations and any competitions on the day. In addition you will find the full run down of the day’s racing schedule and information about the runners and riders of the day.
