Bringing your own car
On race days, all customer car parking is on a designated area of the Open Course. Car parking can be purchased in advance via our website when booking your tickets, or on the day by cash or card. On arrival, stewards will direct you from the road outside the racecourse, right up until you park your car in its space. Customers are politely asked not to leave their cars on-site overnight and are reminded that all property and valuables are left at the owner’s risk.
County Concourse ticket holders may enter the Open Course, Dee Stand, Tattersalls Enclosure, County Concourse, County Champagne Bar and Paddock. The Paddock is the heart of the racecourse where the Parade Ring is located. Here you can see the horses parade before each race, you can see the winning horse return after each race and watch the presentation ceremony in person each time. County Concourse also gives its ticketholders a wide variety of choice when it comes to where to spend the day. There are a large number of bars on both sides of the track which ticketholders can access, including on the Pavilion Lawn. The Pavilion Lawn is a lively part of the racecourse with track-side seating, pop-up bars, specialist food units and a resident DJ.
No form of furniture i.e. chairs, gazebo’s etc. are permitted in the County Concourse.
There is standing cover in the County Concourse as well as in the Paddock and County Champagne Bar. Racegoers are entitled to bring an umbrella with them into the County Concourse for personal cover.
There is seating available in the County Champagne Bar, Paddock area and Pavilion Lawn on the inside of the track.
Access gates are located on ground level with paved, hard floors. If you do need assistance in moving through the racecourse, please visit the Accessibility Hub in the Holiday Inn Car Park on arrival where trained stewards will assist you. For more information on this, please click here.
The County Concourse itself is on a flat concrete surface with a slope.
There is an accessible viewing platform in the Dee Stand (which County Concourse ticketholders can access).
There are a variety of vendors in the County Concourse serving food and drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). These vendors accept both cash and card payments. There is also an even wider choice of food/drink vendors on the other side of the track in the Paddock area and on the Pavilion Lawn.
There is a cash machine in this enclosure.
