Update – The Lord Mayor’s Fireworks Extravaganza 2021 is now sold out. There will be no ticket sales on the day due to all tickets available being purchased. We strongly advise against purchasing any tickets from non-official sellers. We cannot verify the authenticity of any tickets and you may be refused entry to the event. On Saturday the 6th November 2021, Chester Racecourse’s iconic ‘Lord Mayor’s Fireworks Extravaganza’ will return to the Roodee!
After its absence in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this fireworks night will be the first to take place at the racecourse in 2 years. Staff at the racecourse are extremely excited to be able to once again put on a showstopping event with something for everyone.
Attendees will get to enjoy 2 firework displays from the grandstand side of the track. Earlier on in the evening, a special display for toddlers will take place. Afterward, our showstopping main display will take to the skies set to a curated playlist of music.
A full fairground will also be in attendance on the racecourse for the Fireworks Extravaganza, as well as a vast range of food/drink outlets for you to choose from on the night.
Additionally, this years fireworks event will see exhilarating performances providing a visual spectacle for all to enjoy. The racecourse will play host to not one, but three fire performances! Be hypnotised and watch talented artists perform unbelievable feats with fire. But don’t forget to look out for our neon giants! Throughout the evening, there will be LED stilt walkers roaming the course providing a perfect picture opportunity.
