White Oak Polo Series Set to Return

Published on 30 April 2021

After the disappointment of last year’s cancelled event, The Sport of Kings is back at Chester Racecourse for 2021. The White Oak Polo Series will take place over two consecutive days; Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd July and offers spectators the opportunity to witness the thrill of live polo, pitch-side.

Chester Polo Club has vastly become a highlight of the Cheshire social scene as enthusiastic crowds flock to enjoy an afternoon of sport and vibrancy with great entertainment, food and drink. Guests are welcomed to the Roodee to mingle with the style set and enjoy an atmosphere like no other during the great British summer.

Fierce competition is always anticipated from the worthiest contenders all fighting for the prestigious silverware and the title awarded in a Laurent Perrier Champagne-soaked presentation on finals day. The exhibition series will attract highly skilled teams and players from around the world to Chester and spectators will get the opportunity to witness outstanding play and sportsmanship in serious games of skill across the two days.

Chester Polo Club are delighted that White Oak, an independent business lender offering tailored financing solutions to SMEs, will take the Title Sponsorship of the Polo Series in 2021, having supported polo at Chester for the past six years.

Andy Davies, Managing Director of White Oak Leases and Loans said;

“We are very pleased to be sponsoring the Polo International at Chester for the seventh consecutive year. We’re passionate about supporting local businesses as we head towards recovery, so it feels especially important to be sponsoring the Polo International as it returns after last year’s cancellation. It’s become a real spectacle in our annual events calendar and we’re excited to see everyone at the White Oak Polo Series 2021!”
